Wake Up Warrior was founded by Garrett J. White in 2012. It is led by Garrett and a team of trainers and coaches, and it is built on truth, which means we welcome the hard questions about who leads, who is accountable, and how disagreement is handled.
Garrett J. White founded Wake Up Warrior in 2012 after his own collapse in the 2008 financial crisis nearly cost him his marriage, his business, and his faith. What he rebuilt became the Warrior's Way and, today, Warriors for Christ. He is the author of the Warrior Book and has worked with tens of thousands of men.
Garrett leads and teaches, but he is open that he is a man in process, still doing the same work he asks of every Warrior. He is the first to say he is not the point, Christ is.
Day to day, the calls, coaching, and programs are run by Garrett alongside a team of Warrior trainers and coaches.
On who holds Garrett accountable, here's the honest answer: Wake Up Warrior is a coaching and discipleship business, not a church. It doesn't operate under church-style governance, no elders, board, or denominational oversight, and we don't claim to. Accountability here works the way it does for any business you choose to be part of: membership is voluntary, you're free to question, push back, or leave at any time, and the work stands or falls on whether it actually changes men's lives.
Truth only works if men are free to challenge it. Inside Warrior, questioning, pushing back, and saying "I don't see it that way" isn't punished, it's the point, men hold each other and the leadership accountable in the room. The whole model is built on men telling each other the truth, including the uncomfortable kind.
If you disagree with a teaching or a decision, you are free to raise it, free to step back, and free to leave at any time.

Wake Up Warrior is a business, not a church, so it doesn't have church-style oversight like elders or a board. Accountability is the kind any voluntary membership has: you can question, push back, or leave at any time, and the work has to keep proving itself.
Men are free to question teachings and decisions, raise concerns directly, step back, or leave at any time. Honest challenge is encouraged, not punished.
No. It's a discipleship movement for men and is not a replacement for your local church.
